Description

Are you interested in learning a creative new skill that is centuries old?  Looking for a memorable and fun time out with friends and family?  Are you interested in natural skin care without the added harsh chemicals?  This is the class for you!

Our workshop includes making your very own goat milk soap from fresh goat milk from our own goat herd.  You will be taking your soap home.  You also will get to:

  • Meet our goats in their environment.
  • Milk a goat if you so choose.
  • See how goat milk soap is made through observation of a thorough up-close demonstration of the cold process soap making.
  • Then design and plan your own recipe.
  • Measure and blend your own soap creation adding in herbs or flowers.
  • Leave with your own soap mold ready to unmold and cut the following day.

Cost includes:

  1. All materials used (oils, milk, herbs, essential oils, etc.)  However, you are welcome to BYOEO (bring your own essential oil, if you have a favorite)
  2. One on one instructional time 
  3. Handouts (details and soap recipe to take home with you)
  4. Your very own natural soap bars to keep.

What to bring:

  1. Long sleeve shirt – legs and arms must be covered.
  2. Closed toed shoes.
  3. Old towel
  4. Old apron (if you have one)
  5. Your own personal safety equipment (goggles, rubber gloves)
